Located in the Sierra foothills
Located in the foothills outside of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. We are a small ranch for retired horses; just six horses. We are not a fancy facility but rustic and natural providing great daily hands on care for your horse. We treat your horse like one of our family. We have been providing care for retired horses for 20 years, you can count on our experience with horses.
Long Term Retired Horse Boarding
Each horse has their own large natural paddock with trees, run in stall, covered feed stall and daily turnout in a horseshoe shaped pasture which encourages maximum movement of your horse.
We take the best care of your beloved friend
We feed your horse grass hay and, if requested, alfalfa hay three times a day. We are happy to feed any supplements you would like for your horse. We put on fly masks in summer and blanket when needed in winter. We have an onsite natural barefoot trimmer. Our wonderful vet travels to our ranch providing excellent care. We also send you photos each month so you can see how your horse is thriving. Visits are welcome by appointment.
